The Middle Keys Consists of Conch Key, Duck Key, Grassy Keys, Marathon, Key Colony Beach
CONCH KEY
The Conch Keys are the start of the Middle Keys; located at Mile Marker 63 on the ocean and bay side. Conch Key bay side is a sleepy little fishing village. You can walk the entire island, it is approximately 1 mile by 1 mile. There is a Fire Station, Seafood Market (seasonal) and a Motel.

DUCK KEY
Duck Key is located at Mile Marker 61 on the ocean side. When you turn off US 1 and enter onto Duck Key you will first pass by Hawk's Cay Resort before crossing over one of the many beautiful arched bridges. Duck Keys is a composite of five islands - Yacht Club Island, Center Island, Harbour Island, Plantation Island and Indies Island. You will find beautiful homes and estates on Duck Key. If you like seclusion, privacy and security - this might be the Island for you.

CITY OF MARATHON
Marathon's incorporation became effective on November 30, 1999. The City of Marathon and the City of Key Colony Beach are the only municipalities in the Florida Keys to allow all properties the ability to do weekly rentals. Key Colony Beach is located in the North end of Marathon on the ocean side.
The locals call Marathon "the heart of the Florida Keys." Geographically they are located in the middle of the Keys - Key Largo is 50 miles North and Key West is 50 miles South. Marathon has more conveniences of a large city, if you will. They have a Home Depot, Office Depot, Publix, Winn Dixie, Community Park, Sombrero Beach, many great restaurants and shops.
